| 自己紹介 | 講師ランクが上がったのでレッスン料を9月1日の予約より1500Pとさせていただきます。 ★★★自己紹介（日本語）★★★ こんにちは！Amieke Walkerです。はじめまして！ 私はカナダ人で、Ottawa出身です。 日本では5年間、東京の中学校と高校でアシスタント英会話講師として働いていました。 そこでは英語を教える楽しさや言語を学ぶ大切さに気づき、英語を学ぶことは自分の可能性を広げ、異なる文化や国を繋げることのできる素晴らしいツールであることを再確認しました。 ぜひ、みんなの力になりたいです！ 私は絵を描いたり、手作りの小物を作ったり、ピアノを弾くことが好きです！ 久石譲のジブリ音楽を弾くことが大好きです。 最近では、イギリスやアイルランドの民俗的な踊りである「アイリッシュ・ジグ」やその国の踊りに合わせた音楽をピアノで弾いたりしています！ 私は旅行も大好きで、春ごろには日本に帰る予定です。ステキな桜を見るのが待ちきれません！ みなさんにレッスンで会えることがとっても楽しみです！ ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ ★★★自己紹介（英語）★★★ Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Amieke Walker and I am Canadian. My hometown is Ottawa (the capital city!). I moved to Japan this year and started working at an English conversation school named Nissait in Kawagoe, Saitama. It has been a pleasure to meet and see the progress of my students there and on S-lessons. I am always impressed by their creativity and enthusiasm! It inspires me to do my best to support their language learning :) During my free time, I enjoy drawing pictures and making crafts, such as little sewing projects. I also play piano. I love to play studio Ghibli songs by Joe Hisaishi. Recently, I’ve also been having fun learning traditional Irish jigs and country dance songs on the piano. | 経歴・資格 | I have five years experience working for the JET programme as an assistant English teacher at a private middle school and high school in Tokyo and have been working at an English conversation school in Saitama since March 2023. I have taught English to students of a wide range of abilities and levels, including coaching them for Eiken interviews and recitation contests. I have taught phonics and early writing skills as well as more advanced language skills, such as essay writing. I also have experience working with young children and understand how to adapt lesson material to suit these younger students. |
