| 自己紹介 | こんにちは。わたしの名前はロレインです。わたしは日本で１２年間ELS講師として、ニッセイトで１０年間非常勤講師として働いていました。その間、少人数や大人数の大人や小さな子どもたちへ英語を教えてきました。わたしは情熱的な先生で、生徒たちへクラスで英語を使わせるように出来る限りの機会を作りました。しかし２０１１年に、自分の家族との生活のため、日本を離れることになりました。母親として、子供の学びについて色々と気づかされました。２人の息子たちへ歌を歌ったり本を読んだりするときには、自分のクラスでどのようにそれが出来ていたかと考えます。日本や日本の生徒たちがとても懐かしいです。 時間のある時には、パンを焼いたりテレビを見たり料理をしたり歌を歌ったりして楽しんでいます。読書も大好きで、それはもう一度英語を教える事の手助けになるかもしれないと思っています。みなさんのゴールに届くように一生懸命にサポートしていきます。 Hello. My name is Lorraine. I was an ESL instructor in Japan for 12 years, including 10 years of part-time work with Nissait English School. During this time, I had the opportunity to teach young children and adults in both small and large groups as well as one on one. I was an energetic teacher and used every chance I could in class to encourage students to use English. Sadly, I had to leave Japan in 2011 when it was time for me to start my own family. Being a mother has made me more aware of how children learn. When I read or sing to my 2 young sons, I often think about how I could have used that in my classes. When I take my children to various programs at the play centre, I want to jump up and take over from the co-ordinator. I miss Japan and my former students very much. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, and watching reality TV shows about cooking and singing. I am also an avid reader. I love that technology may be able to help me get back into teaching. I will work hard to help you reach your goals. |
